Course Overview

Skanda Yoga is one of the best  Yoga schools in India, located at Palolem Beach in the state of Goa. Skanda Yoga aims to impart quality teachings to the students. Students enjoy learning Yoga and our qualified teachers will help them achieve healthy body and enlightened soul. Our yoga programs of 100 hours are designed to help students to get best knowledge of Asana and health benefits of each Asana. This will help our students to know benefits of each asana and improve their teaching skills.

Our Hatha and Ashtanga yoga Training is designed for every individual who wants to be Yoga teacher. We help our students to start their own Yoga studio and guide them to start a successful career ahead.  Our experienced and certified teachers focus on providing right knowledge needed to be a Yoga teacher and make them practice until they get perfect in asana. Our students come from different countries, mainly from Europe. And we share them history of yoga. We teach meditation, anatomy of yoga and asana as part of our TTC training.

We follow a continued learning schedule which is followed by a well-defined syllabus that covers both ancient yoga traditions and modern-day yoga practices. The learning program covers the yoga practice requirements along with safety precautions that will make nurture you as a professional.

We start 100 hour TTC with detox program for first 3 days. Our Yoga syllabus covers multi-style Yoga practice, theory and Indian vegetarian [satvic] food during the training.  Palolem beach is one of the cleanest beaches in India. Sundays our students can go for boating, kayaking and swimming or just enjoy the beach in front.

AYURVEDA & MUTLI-STYLE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

The teachings are based around the five points of yoga — postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation, and diet. We extensively provide training on Hatha & Patanjali’s ashtanga system that stresses on ethics, breathing practices (pranayama), yoga postures (asana) and meditation. One can also learn about yoga therapy, Indian philosophy, Sanskrit and Vedanta. The course equips practitioners with all the skills they need to conduct yoga lessons independently, and pass on the core principles of Yoga to their students.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Daily 2 asana classes
  • Daily journaling and meditation practice.
  • Observing 6 classes.
  • Assisting in 6 classes.
  • Teaching 6 classes.
  • A strong desire to work hard.

100 HOUR PROGRAM – CURRICULUM

We have redefined a curriculum as per the international standards of Yoga Alliance USA coupled with our own expertise in the field of Ayurveda and Yoga. The prime objective is to prepare the future teachers physically and spiritually ready to practice and teach by themselves. We will lay down the foundations to become a successful and well-rounded Ayurveda and Yoga teacher.

The main areas that we cover in our program will be will be classified in 5 modules: Ayurveda teaching techniques, teaching Methodology and Yogic Lifestyle, Philosophy, Anatomy and physiology, and Practice.
